3 Answers: Packers at Ravens – 2021 Week 15

The Packers escaped Baltimore with another win… barely.

And it gave up answers to the 3 biggest questions that we had going into the game:

    1. Can the Ravens defend the pass? Somehow, yes. Missing pretty much all their defensive backs, they held the Packers to 268 yards passing and came up with key stops late. I’m not sure how, but they didn’t allow Green Bay to sling it all over the place and it kept the game within reach until the very end. Great effort by Baltimore.
  1. What will the Ravens do at quarterback? They ran the ball and passed to the tight end. The Packers had no answer for Mark Andrews early, so Huntley chucked it at him for 10-135-6. When he wasn’t doing that, he was running – leading the team with 13 carries for 73 yards and 2 touchdowns.
  2. What creative new screw-ups will Packers special teams unveil this week? A delay of game while punting from their own end zone. That was a new one. Honestly, thought, it was a better special teams effort than we’ve seen lately, even with the screw ups. They even had a nice kick return (although it was nullified by a penalty). When it mattered, they recovered an onside kick to seal the game. That’s about as good as it gets for Packers special teams in 2021.
