I don’t know about some of these guys, but I know Jared Cook is a slam dunk must-sign.
There’s no need to delve into stats on this one, just watch the freaking games he was in and compare it to the games he wasn’t in. The offense clearly runs better with Cook. Ok, fine, you’re a fantasy football player and need every argument backed up by stats – well then how about these: 18 catches, 229 yards, and 2 touchdowns. That’s his playoff stat line. You know how many other Packer tight ends ever did that before? Zero. Not Tom Crabtree, not even Justin Perillo!
I, for one, am sick of hearing “…since Jermichael Finley” whenever anyone talks about Jared Cook (it’s more annoying than the phrase “matchup nightmare”). The dude made the offense rock, more than the run game ever did under McCarthy, and he pulled off this crazy sh!t (suck it, Cowboys!).
That’s enough talk, it’s time for Teddy Thompson to listen to Teddy KGB: pay that man his money.
